Description
FAL-25 Inline Threaded Aluminum Flame Arrester
The FAL-25 Inline Threaded Aluminum Flame Arrester is designed for installation on pipelines carrying or venting combustible gases, such as oil gas, coal gas, natural gas, and similar vapor or gas media. It helps prevent flame propagation caused by flashback and reduces the risk of flame spreading through the pipeline system.
The flame arrester body is manufactured from high-quality cast aluminum alloy and machined for accurate assembly. The unit adopts an O-ring sealing structure, which supports easy maintenance and convenient removal of the flame arresting element for cleaning. The compact threaded design makes it suitable for small pipeline systems where lightweight construction, simple installation, and reliable flame protection are required.

Installation and Maintenance
The FAL-25 flame arrester should be installed in the correct flow direction and position according to the pipeline design and project requirements. Before installation, the pipeline should be checked to ensure that no welding slag, metal particles, or other foreign materials remain inside the line.
For reliable operation, the flame arresting element should be inspected and cleaned periodically. If the flame element is blocked, deformed, corroded, or mechanically damaged, it should be cleaned or replaced in time. Steam, compressed air, or non-corrosive cleaning solvent may be used for cleaning. Sharp or hard tools should not be used to clean the flame element, as they may damage the corrugated flame arresting structure.

Selection Notes
When selecting an inline threaded flame arrester, the gas type, gas group, pipeline size, connection standard, operating pressure, temperature, installation location, and required flame arresting performance should be reviewed carefully. THINKTANK can provide engineering support for flame arrester selection according to project-specific pipeline and tank safety requirements.
