After our engineer to inspect on-site, we found that a large number of impurities were blocked at the inlet of the flow hole of the cage, which caused the valve flow to decrease.
Reason: Because the flow hole of the multi-stage control valve’s cage is a 4mmx4mm labyrinth, the impurities in the pipeline are mostly sand and iron, which are stuck in the flow hole under the impact of high pressure and cause a blockage.
Solution: Change the flow hole of the multi-stage trim cage to 6mmx4mm labyrinth, in case to reduce the number of pressure reduction stages. At the same time, install a filter valve upstream of the control valve.
Since the renovation, the valve has been running well.

Problem:
Tag No. FV105 and FV106 control valves are installed at the inlet port of the raw material. The user can only change to manual operation, but it can only be set at 0.5% each time the valve position is given.
