Description
THINKTANK’s Molten Salt Check Valve is designed for high-temperature molten salt systems, with a pressure range of PN16–250 (150Lb–1500Lb) and an operating temperature of 29–700°C. This valve ensures safe and reliable flow control by preventing reverse flow in pipelines, making it an essential component in concentrated solar power (CSP) plants, thermal energy storage systems, and chemical processing applications.
Key Features
- Top-Mounted Design
- Features a compact structure with no internal guide rods, minimizing turbulence and pressure loss.
- Eliminates the risk of flow obstruction and ensures smooth operation.
- Durable Construction
- Manufactured using high-strength materials like WCB/A105 for temperatures below 400°C and CF8C/F347 for temperatures between 400–700°C.
- The sealing surfaces are made of wear-resistant alloys to ensure reliable performance over time.
- Anti-Stagnation Design
- Specifically engineered to prevent liquid stagnation, allowing installation in nearly any orientation (horizontal or vertical pipelines).
- Reduces flow resistance and optimizes system efficiency.
Applications
- Concentrated Solar Power (CSP): Prevents reverse flow in high-temperature molten salt pipelines.
- Thermal Energy Storage: Ensures smooth operation in molten salt storage and transport systems.
- Chemical Processing: Maintains flow integrity in high-temperature and aggressive fluid applications.
