Breather valves are an important part of many storage tank systems, especially in tough environments. To make sure our CF8M stainless steel, 2-inch breather valve could handle real-world conditions, we put it through a life test with 11,200 cycles of pressure changes. The result? It performed great, with no problems at all!
What Were the Testing Conditions?
We wanted to see how our valve would work under challenging conditions, so we tested it with:
- Temperature: Between 15°C and 30°C
- Humidity: Between 45% and 75%
- Pressure Range: Positive pressure of 50 millipascals and negative pressure of 55 millipascals
During the test, positive and negative pressure were applied over and over to mimic real-life use. A special machine (SUP-MCX710) tracked everything. From start to finish, we kept an eye on how the valve performed to make sure the test was accurate.
How Did It Perform?
We ran the test 11,200 times, with the valve experiencing up to 5.1 kPa of positive pressure and 5.6 kPa of negative pressure. After all that, the 2-inch breather valve still looked and worked like new!
It held its seal perfectly, and there was no damage to any of its parts. This shows it’s a reliable product that can handle heavy use in real-world situations.
Perfect for Marine Storage Tanks
Marine storage tanks need breather valves that can handle rough conditions, like pressure changes and tough weather. Our CF8M stainless steel breather valve passed this test with flying colors, proving it’s up to the task. It can help keep marine storage tanks running safely and reliably, even in harsh environments.
As a trusted manufacturer of breather valves, we’re proud to provide high-quality products for your needs, whether it’s for marine use or other purposes.
