“Can you provide a reliable pneumatic linear actuator that fits our custom valve dimensions, with enough thrust and flexible control options?”
At the same time, some end users faced a different issue.
Their existing actuators had failed after years of service, but replacements weren’t easy to find. The original suppliers were gone, or the actuator specs had changed.
They needed a custom actuator to match existing mounting sizes, stroke, and control logic—without modifying the whole system.
Many of our OEM partners were looking for actuators that could deliver strong thrust, were built to last, and could be easily adapted to different valve designs—even in small production runs with custom specs.

Why We Developed Pneumatic Linear Valve Actuator
To meet that need, we developed the THINKTANK Pneumatic Linear Valve Actuator — a modular, reliable solution designed to fit a wide range of rising stem valves.
