At THINKTANK, we take immense pride in our contribution to the Arctic LNG-2 project, a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality control valves and regulators. Our involvement underscores our dedication to providing superior products for critical applications, particularly in the natural gas sector. In April 2023, we marked a significant milestone by successfully completing the delivery of the first batch of control valves for this project. Currently, we are fully engaged in the production of the second batch, demonstrating our efficiency and reliability in meeting project timelines.
Our participation in the Arctic LNG-2 project, especially for the preservation of the IS/IBS system, showcases our expertise in producing valves that ensure safety and performance under extreme conditions. These control valves are crucial for maintaining pressure control within the system during the transportation of CDP-2 from Murmansk to the Gydan Peninsula, highlighting a critical aspect of the project’s infrastructure.
With a rich history of engaging in numerous natural gas projects worldwide and providing OEM services to major European brands, we have established long-term partnerships with many Russian clients over the past two years. Our philosophy is not to produce the cheapest products but to focus on reliability, stability, and precision in our high-end industrial valves.
The Arctic LNG-2 project, led by NOVATEK and with SAREN (a joint venture between SAIPEM and RENAISSANCE) as the main contractor for civil works, aims to construct three liquefied natural gas production lines with a total capacity of 19.8 million tons per year and stable condensate production of approximately 1.6 million tons per year. Utilizing an innovative construction concept based on gravity-based structures (GBS), this project represents a significant advancement in LNG production technology. The Utrenneye field, located on the Gydan Peninsula in YNAO, approximately 70 kilometers from the Yamal LNG across the Ob Bay, serves as the resource base for the Arctic LNG 2 project.
