    Brief Description

    The fusible link valve for diesel generator sets is designed to automatically shut off flammable gases or liquids, and any other potentially hazardous media in the piping system when the ambient temperature reaches a set value. Once a fire or explosion occurs, the valve will automatically shut off the supply of flammable gases or liquids, or any other potentially hazardous media to stop or reduce the hazards caused by fire and explosion accidents.

It may cause flammable gases or liquids, solvents, alcohol, toxic liquids, or any other potentially dangerous media leakage, there may be a certain amount of personal injury to the staff who implement the shutdown operation, or lead to the inability to close the pipeline in time and further expand the accident disaster.

    The Fusible link valves are designed to automatically shut off piping systems for flammable gases or liquids, solvents, alcohols, toxic liquids, or any other potentially hazardous media when the ambient temperature reaches a set value. In the event of a fire or explosion, these valves will automatically stop the supply of flammable gases or liquids, solvents, alcohols, toxic liquids, or any other potentially hazardous media, ending or reducing the hazard caused by a fire or explosion. In the event of a fire, the fuse of the fusible link valve will automatically disengage(link melts) when a preset value is reached, which automatically drives the actuator at the top of the valve, turning the valve from normally open to closed(fail valve close/FC) or normally closed to open(fail valve open/FO). The fusible link valve has a wide range of temperature setting values, which can be freely selected according to the actual situation of the project. In general, the setting temperature of the fusible link valve should be greater than the ambient temperature of 30℃. It is a very ideal solution in the inlet and outlet system of flammable storage tanks.

    We were commissioned by the distributor of HIMOINSA diesel generator sets to retrofit fuse valves on 13 sets of 1500KW high-pressure generator units for a new project.
